Former WWE champion The Miz suffered a serious ACL injury during his Zombie Lumberjack match against Damien Priest at WrestleMania Backlash. It was initially stated that the A-Lister may be out of action in the coming months. However, the former WWE Champion was back at RAW last week, albeit in a non-wrestling capacity.

Speaking to Forbes’ Alfred Konuwa, The Miz said that he felt perfect but is waiting for the doctors to clear him for the in-ring competition.

“I don’t expect to be out nine months,” The Miz said. “As a matter of fact, I was on Monday Night RAW last week and I plan on being on Monday Night RAW next week. Now, when will I have a real match? I don’t know. That’s for the doctors to decide and figure out. But I feel like a million bucks, and the way my headspace is, I don’t like to be gone for long.”

It was reported that The Miz landed himself in a bit of trouble last week on RAW as his opening Miz TV segment with Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley exceeded the stipulated time it was alloted.
