The Rock recently participated in an Instagram Live session and talked about a potential return. On being asked if he would be open to facing his cousin Roman Reigns, The Brahma Bull stated that he would be open to returning and facing The Big Dog.

However, he did state that the venue and the time must be right in order for him to return.
Is The Rock vs. Roman Reigns possibile? Yeah, I think anything is possible. Sure, of course. I'm always open and you know that's the cool thing about the world of professional wrestling. There is adaptability to wrestling and you know, you never say never in the world of pro wrestling.
He also said that it is hard to say no to Vince McMahon, as he considers McMahon a close friend and mentor. He further added that Roman Reigns is very close to him, as they are family. He also stated that he thinks for something like that to happen, the venue would have to be right.
