As announced on RAW this week, there will be a retirement ceremony held for Rey Mysterio next week. As per an update by WWE, Seth Rollins will be the one who will be holding this ceremony.
Things have gotten interesting with The Monday Night Messiah and The Master of 619 as of late. Seth Rollins had brutally attacked former World Champion Rey Mysterio and injured his eye using the steel steps. While The Messiah did show 'remorse' afterward, it looks like things are far from over between the two men.
Rey Mysterio's contract details
There had been reports suggesting that Rey Mysterio has not yet re-signed with WWE yet. One of the reasons why it is believed that Mysterio may sign a new contract with the company is that he wants his son to have a career with the company.
While nothing can be said for sure, it looks like this retirement ceremony hosted by Seth Rollins may not be the end of the former WWE Champion's career for now.
