#3. WWE removes Batista's Hall of Fame induction page
It seems like Batista won't be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year as the former WWE Champion's induction page has been removed from the company website. As things stand, Batista's HOF induction page is unavailable on WWE.com. It's also interesting to note that the WWE Hall of Fame logo has been removed from Batista's official WWE.com profile.
Fightful Select was the first to report yesterday that WWE had made some changes to the Hall of Fame lineup.
The WWE Hall of Fame 2020 ceremony had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the company announced a joint ceremony for the 2020 and 2021 classes for this year's show.
Fightful reported that WWE would tape the Hall of Fame ceremony shows on March 30th and April 1st. The show will be edited and then aired on April 6th on the WWE Network.
With Batista potentially out of the Class, the 2020 lineup features the following names:
- The nWo
- The Bella Twins
- JBL
- Jushin "Thunder" Liger
- The British Bulldog
WWE also announced Eric Bischoff and Molly Holly for the Class of 2021, and more names will be revealed soon. An image circulating online might have also accidentally revealed Daniel Bryan as the next inductee for this year's Class.
