WWE's latest PPV offering - Hell in a Cell, is in the books, and the show had many notable takeaways worth dissecting to predict WWE's next course of action.

Randy Orton became a 14-time WWE Champion after beating Drew McIntyre in a hellacious Hell in a Cell contest. What's next for the Legend Killer? How long would his latest reign last? What does WWE have in store for him at WrestleMania 37? Backstage updates from the WWE have revealed a big plan.

The Fiend might be one of the most intimidating WWE characters, but a forgotten masked character from another promotion could be brought back for a dream clash.

John Cena and The Rock are two of the biggest Superstars that WWE has created over the years, and the company has plans of elevating a current talent to a similar level.

A Superstar has also been repackaged and sent back to NXT. Finally, The Miz dropped a big teaser regarding his future as the Money in the Bank contract holder.

#5. WWE wants to elevate Roman Reigns to The Rock and John Cena's level

Roman Reigns retained the Universal Championship against Jey Uso in an 'I Quit' Hell in a Cell match at the recently concluded HIAC PPV. The match was more about the story than the moves, and despite being a lengthy affair, it did the job of elevating the ongoing feud.

WrestlingNews.co reports that the plan is still to have Roman Reigns lead a faction with The Usos. It has been noted that Jey and Jimmy Uso will be reluctant at first, but they will buy into Reigns' vision sooner rather than later.

Roman Reigns was anointed as the family's undisputed leader at Hell in a Cell, and The Usos are expected to follow The Tribal Chief's orders in due time.

The idea behind the whole angle is to take Roman Reigns to a similar level as The Rock and John Cena. However, WWE also has the objective of elevating The Usos, and the reported plan is to have them win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in the future.

The title win will only happen when Jimmy Uso is cleared to return to in-ring action, which isn't happening anytime before 2021.

Roman Reigns is already an established Superstar, but WWE isn't willing to take their feet off the pedal just yet. The company wants Roman Reigns to be the next Rock and John Cena, and going by what's happening on TV; The Tribal Chief is on course towards achieving the goal.

#4. Jeff Hardy wants a Willow vs. Fiend feud in the WWE

The fans who religiously watched TNA/IMPACT Wrestling in 2014 would fondly remember Jeff Hardy's masked avatar called 'Willow'. Jeff Hardy used the masked character way back during his OMEGA days in the early 90s and he could get it back in the WWE.

During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Jeff Hardy expressed his desire to get 'Willow' back for a feud against The Fiend. The Charismatic Enigma even pitched a storyline idea for a possible showdown between Willow and The Fiend.

Here's what Jeff Hardy had to say:

"I want Willow to have something to do with 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt, though what that is, I'm not sure yet. That's one of the struggles right now inside my head. I'm thinking that Willow is stuck in a little black-and-white TV of the Twilight Zone in The Firefly Fun House. Maybe The Fiend beats Jeff Hardy, and that's why I transform into Willow. It's cool that pro wrestling allows all this creativity to exist. For me, it's always been where my dreams come true, and it still is to this day."

With Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt both currently on RAW, the WWE Creative team would surely be tempted to book a feud between the Superstars, and if that happens, Willow vs. The Fiend seems inevitable.

#3. Possible WrestleMania 37 match for the WWE title revealed

Randy Orton captured his 14th World Championship in the WWE by beating Drew McIntyre inside the Hell in a Cell.

The Legend Killer's latest WWE Championship reign is expected to go on for a while, and it seems like the company might have already planned a big WrestleMania 37 match for Orton.

Dave Meltzer revealed on the post-Hell in a Cell edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio that the current direction for the WWE Championship is reportedly to have Randy Orton and Edge at WrestleMania 37.

"I certainly was given the impression tonight that it's Orton and Edge the direction right now for that championship. Orton's been great. I think Orton as a short-time champion right now, can be great, but you can't build this thing around Randy Orton. It's a step backwards, and they may be doing that because they take a lot of steps backwards."

Edge is currently out of action due to a torn triceps injury, and WWE hopes for the Rated-R Superstar to be back in time for Royal Rumble, which is when he can begin the build-up for the rubber match against Orton.

While Orton vs. Edge at WrestleMania wouldn't need a title to get over, WWE might want to raise the stakes for what could be the final match in the rivalry.

#2. WWE Superstar sent back to NXT

Brendan Vink took to his Twitter handle to announce that he would be returning to WWE NXT under his new name, Tony Modra. The moniker seems to be an ode to Anthony 'Tony' Modra, an Australian rules football player.

Brendan Vink wrestled for various promotions, starting from 2008 before he signed with the WWE in 2019. The Australian professional wrestler reported to the WWE Performance Center, and he made his in-ring debut for the company at an NXT house show in March 2019.

He made his televised NXT debut in the same month by teaming up with Shane Thorne, collectively known as TM-61.

Thorne and Vink began appearing on Monday Night RAW in March 2020, and they were paired up with MVP.

It did look like the WWE planned on having a faction with MVP as the leader. However, WWE pulled the plug on the angle, and both Thorne and Vink were taken off RAW without any explanation.

While Thorne has joined RETRIBUTION as Slapjack, Brendam Vink will start from square one on the Black-and-Gold brand as Tony Modra going forward.

#1. The Miz teases his next move after winning the MITB contract at WWE Hell in a Cell

One of the biggest twists from WWE Hell in a Cell was Tucker turning heel, which helped The Miz win the MITB briefcase from Otis.

The A-Lister famously won his first WWE Championship after he cashed in his MITB contract on Randy Orton in November 2010. Miz could replicate his earlier feat by cashing in the contract on Randy Orton yet again in 2020.

The Miz even teased it happening with the following social media posts after Hell in a Cell:

#AndNew Mr. Money in the Bank! When I say I'm going to do something - I DO IT!!!! Just remember, history has a way of repeating itself, and so far, step 1 is complete. You know what's next...

As noted earlier, WWE reportedly wants Randy Orton to defend the WWE title against Edge at WrestleMania 37. However, the match could also happen without the title, and that's where The Miz could step in.

However, would WWE let The Miz successfully cash in the contract once again in his career? Would you like to see it happen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
