#2 Triple H gives an update on The Undertaker
The Undertaker was last seen by the WWE Universe in the Boneyard match against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 36. The match, which was more of a cinematic experience than a regular match, received major praise from fans and critics, and both The Undertaker and Styles were praised for their performances.
The end of the match saw The Phenom ride his bike out of the graveyard after having 'buried' AJ Styles. While speaking to Corey Graves on his podcast, Triple H cleared the air about rumors suggesting that 'cinematic' matches do not take a toll on the body like a regular match.
“It’s a funny thing that I saw a lot of people afterwards saying like, ‘Taker could go forever in these kinds of format because of the physicality, there’s no physicality.’ I’m like, dude, AJ was flying around on the dirt on the hard ground with rocks and they were beating the tar out of each other, and it was a long shoot.” (H/T: SportsKeeda)
There have been multiple reports suggesting that we will be seeing more of such cinematic matches, at least, until WWE returns to arenas filled with audiences.
