WWE Rumors: Answers on when The Club vs The Shield will happen
The feud that might define the “New Era” of the WWE is still on the agenda. From the moment the first murmurings were heard of members of the Bullet Club signing with the WWE, the IWC’s capricious imagination started weaving together the threads of a feud with the Shield.
We have in the past, reported that the showdown will happen, but the timeline was always in question. According to dailywrestlingnews.com, Vince McMahon and other officials are still very keen on the feud precipitating, but want to give The Club a strong booking before pulling the trigger.
Finn Balor joining the group will be the catalyst, according to the report. So it is safe to assume that the epic feud will not go down anytime soon, with AJ Styles busy with John Cena and the former brothers-in-arms at each other’s throats for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Reports state that it will be “several months” before the factions go to war and given the current dynamics, the question of how the Shield will reunite is the bigger problem. Rollins and Reigns, who, though suspended, is still part of the main event at Battleground, will attempt to wrest the throne Ambrose recently seized.
