WWE is finally getting two top names back!

What's the story?

WrestleMania 35 is almost here and the rumors regarding WWE's plans for after the biggest wrestling show of the year are already doing the rounds.

The period after 'Mania is known for the returns of Superstars who have been away from TV for some time and this year is expected to be no different.

As per a report from Post Wrestling's John Pollock, Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt are all set to make their respective WWE returns after WrestleMania 35. Additionally, the potential plans for both superstars were also revealed as part of the report.

In case you didn't know...

Sami Zayn has been missing from action ever since he lost to Bobby Lashley at last year's Money in the Bank PPV. The Underdog from the Underground went under the knife to fix injuries in both his shoulders and rotator cuffs.

As for Bray Wyatt, the Eater of Worlds last wrestled against Baron Corbin at the Starrcade show in November 2018. His absence has been attributed to a lack of creative direction from WWE's side. However, Wyatt has consistently been in the news as he and Jojo Offerman announced that they were expecting a baby boy.

He even changed up his look, which teased a potential gimmick change being on the way. And if the latest reports are anything to go by, a new character is exactly what could be in store for the former WWE Champion upon his return.

The heart of the matter

Let's begin with Zayn. According to John Pollock, the former NXT Champion should make his return by next week during SmackDown's tapings in Montreal, which is incidentally his home town.

Coming to Wyatt, WWE is expected to air vignettes to hype his comeback in the coming weeks. It was also reported that WWE is currently working some major changes to Wyatt's character and that the groundwork for the same has been set in motion in recent weeks.

What's next?

WWE would need all the reinforcements they can get to keep things fresh after WrestleMania 35 and the returns of Wyatt and Zayn serve that purpose.

It would be interesting to see the apparent changes that could be on offer when it comes to Wyatt's character. On the other side, we sincerely hope WWE has a substantial creative plan for the talented Zayn as well when he appears again soon.
