What's the story?

Speculation regarding The Undertaker's appearance and role at Wrestlemania 35 has been on its peak. While many reports have stated that there absolutely no plans for The Deadman this Wrestlemania, and he will not be a part of the show; there are new reports indicating that WWE might be keeping The Undertaker's appearance a secret.

The Undertaker was spotted in New York as per reports, however, it was stated that he is there for other appearances in New Jersey during the Wrestlemania weekend.

In case you didn't know...

The Undertaker last competed in November in the Crown Jewel event held in Saudi Arabia where he teamed with his "brother" Kane to take on Triple H and Shawn Michaels-- who had come out of retirement for one night only.

Last year, the Undertaker faced John Cena at Wrestlemania in an impromptu match and was able to defeat The Champ in a matter of minutes.

The Undertaker will be making an appearance at Starrcast which is not a WWE event, leading to speculation that he might not be involved in Wrestlemania at all this year.

The heart of the matter

Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via cagesideseats.com) has reported that even though many “high on the food chain” in WWE have said Undertaker won’t be at WrestleMania 35, but others have played coy on it.

This could indicate that WWE does indeed have plans for The Undertaker at Wrestlemania but do not want the word to get out, as they might be planning a major surprise at the Showcase of the Immortals.

What's next?

Wrestlemania 35 will take place on April 7, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The show will make history as for the first time ever it will be main-evented by women.
