WWE Rumours: Possible matches taking place at Hell in A Cell PPV revealed

Kevin Owens Seth Rollins
These two are expected to battle each other once again for the Universal Championship

After successfully finishing first ever Brand Exclusive PPV Clash Of Champions, The red brand of WWE Raw looks all set to deliver it's next Raw-only PPV in Hell In A Cell later this month.

While till now WWE has confirmed only one match happening at the PPV, there are several others that look to be certain to find their spots on the card.

As noted by allwrestlingnews.com, coming out of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, it looks like the Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins will once again defend his championship against his Clash of Champions opponent Brian Kendrick.

Kendrick defeated Perkins in a one on one non-title matchup in this week’s Raw and the common conduct within the company is that anyone, who defeats a champion in a one on one match, is entitled to a future shot at the championship.

Since it was noted by the commentators multiple times that this win would once again put Brian into the hunt for the newly reinstated Cruiserweight title, it more than likely that TJ will be defending his title against Brian Kendrick once again at Hell in a Cell.

Another Clash Of Champions rematch which is said to be in the works for its following PPV is the Universal Championship match between Kevin Owens and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

The foundation for this match also looks to be laid already as Seth has tried to confront Owens twice in the past two weeks following the CoC PPV. Not only that he also cost the Jeri-KO team a possible shot at the tag team championship this past Monday when he interfered and cost them their match against The New Day.

The rumour mill also suggests that WWE could add Chris Jericho to the mix making the Universal Title Match at Hell In A Cell a triple threat match

However, the most interesting one of all these rumours is a second possible Hell In a Cell cage match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte for The Women's Championship at the next Raw PPV.

Since Sasha defeated Charlotte for the Women' Championship this past Monday, and the former Champion has a rematch clause against her long-time rival, a match between these two NXT Veterans is widely believed to be already sealed for the 2nd Raw Exclusive PPV.

But If the speculations are true and this match is indeed going to take place inside the unforgiving steel structure, then WWE would be making history at the PPV as this is going to be the first Hell In A Cell match involving only female contestants among all 33 HIAC matches that have taken place till now.

As seen on Raw this week, WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will be defending his newly won United States Championship against Rusev in a Hell in A Cell match at the PPV of the same name.
