WWE Rumours: Is John Cena retiring?

Is this goodbye from Cena?

A “Match of the Year” candidate was declared just right now when “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles beat John Cena at SummerSlam. Both the participants brought their A-game putting on one of the best matches of the night. Unfortunately, Cena lost, and that probably happened because Cena is going on a hiatus from the WWE to start shooting for the second season of American Grit and won’t be back until the Survivor Series.

AJ Styles is the best wrestler probably in the world right now, but let’s just talk a bit about John Cena. The guy has given us some of the best matches in the WWE. Even today, he elevated Styles to a whole new level making him into a legitimate main-eventer in the eyes of the higher ups in the WWE. After his match with Styles, Cena left his “Never Give Up” band in the middle of the ring with the announcers calling him a legend and one of the greats in the WWE, which Cena definitely is.

Now that Cena is going on a hiatus, Styles will definitely be given a shot at the WWE World Championship, after whoever comes out as the champion following the match between Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose.

But what does it mean for Cena, do you think he will return at Survivor Series or has he finally given up on the WWE to retire from professional wrestling once and for all.
