WWE Rumours: Reigns vs Cena for WWE World Heavyweight Championship original plan at WrestleMania 32

Who would’ve got the louder boos?

You read that right, had Rollins and John Cena not got injured, we’d be waiting to see Roman Reigns defend his WWE World heavyweight Championship title against John Cena at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas on the 3rd of April. Dave Meltzer, editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter replied to a tweet asking him if Rollins would have kept his title till now, had he not got injured. The following was his reply

I’m not sure how that would’ve worked out considering the reactions Roman Reigns gets from crowds. Inspite of being a babyface, he gets booed day in and day out by every crowd. Plus, it’s quite plausible that this match would have been the main event and fans wouldn’t really enjoy another WrestleMania headlined by the former professor of thugonomics and Roman Reigns.

It is also fair to assume that John Cena would have put over Reigns as the Super Cena phase has fortunately ended, and Roman might take the reigns from Cena.Injuries to Seth Rollins and John Cena forced them to make changes. Triple H and Stephanie were slated to face The Rock and Ronda Rousey in seperate singles bouts.

Is this angle better than the original?
