WWE Creative is trying hard to imitate successful superstars from the past. Recently, we have reported that AJ Styles has been penned down to become the new CM Punk. It looks like another Superstar may be joining that list soon.
Cagesideseats reports that Sami Zayn is going to be built as the next Daniel Bryan. Apparently, his likeable nature and good wrestling skills have made Vince and company select him as the next Daniel Bryan. As a result, Zayn will be booked to lose more in the upcoming months. He will be the ultimate underdog that Daniel Bryan was. Reports suggest that he will be booked to come close time and time again and not gain the victory.
Daniel Bryan was truly a unique phenomenon who took the world of WWE by storm. It would be very hard for both WWE Creative and Samy to pull off the idea. Vince McMahon is reportedly behind the idea and he reportedly believes that Sami’s likeable personality will endear him to the fans. WWE must walk a careful line with this idea because if something goes awry Sami’s talents would ultimately be lost in the midcard.
