All 6 former members of WWE's Wyatt Family: Where are they now?

The WWE Universe has been fortunate in recent years to see the rise of two of the greatest factions in the history of the company: The Shield and The Wyatt Family. While many WWE fans will remember the former for a long time to come, The Wyatt Family were a huge part of The Shield's success.

It was a stand-alone team in its own right, but it could be argued that the team didn't have the time or the opportunity to make an impact the way The Shield did.

The stable originally debuted in WWE in the fall of 2012 and were part of NXT for a few months before they were promoted to the main roster. After a few years together, the group split in 2014 before coming back together and officially parting ways in 2017.

The fortunes of all six members of the group have been very different in recent years, with only one still contracted to WWE.

#6. Former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was an honorary member of The Wyatt Family for around two weeks. After a lengthy feud with the group, Bryan went on to join the team, a decision that didn't go down well with the WWE Universe.

But just two weeks later, he changed his mind and turned on The Wyatt Family following a steel cage match against The Usos. Bryan went on to be pushed into the company's main event when he stepped into a feud with The Authority.

Bryan was later forced to retire due to a neck injury, but after two years on the shelf, the former World Champion made his miraculous WWE return.

He then left WWE in early 2021 to join AEW. He's now known as Bryan Danielson and recently wrestled Kenny Omega at AEW Grand Slam in a 5-star rated match.

#6. Current WWE Superstar Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been a part of several WWE stables. From Evolution to Legacy, Orton has left his mark on sports entertainment, and he left a mark on The Wyatt Family too.

In the fall of 2016, The Viper joined the Wyatt Family after Erick Rowan suffered a rotator cuff injury, and then stepped into a show-stealing feud with Bray Wyatt.

Just months later, Orton and Bray Wyatt won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at TLC. Orton won the annual Royal Rumble match before Bray Wyatt won the WWE Championship the following month at Elimination Chamber.

Orton then turned on Wyatt unexpectedly, which led to a thrilling feud between the two men, which culminated at WWE's first House of Horrors match. Orton remains part of WWE at present and is currently one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions.

#4. Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman

Former WWE Champion Braun Strowman was a late addition to The Wyatt Family. But he was one of the reasons the group made an impact during its second stint in 2015.

However, Strowman was drafted away from his family members in 2016. There were hints about Strowman staying by Wyatt's side for the rest of his WWE career, but he moved forward as a solo competitor and won the Universal Championship in his final year in WWE.

The former champion was then surprisingly released from the company in June 2021 as a costly cutting measure and has since sat out his non-compete clause.

At the time of writing, there are several rumors linking Strowman to IMPACT Wrestling and AEW, but the star is yet to choose a new destination.

#3. Former WWE Superstar Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan is the first member of WWE's Wyatt Family. He was seen as one of Wyatt's "sons" when the group was formed and remained loyal to his patriarch for several years before he was "set free."

Rowan was a surprising member of Team Cena at Survivor Series which sparked his feud with Luke Harper after he was announced on Team Authority. Harper and Rowan were then placed together as rivals and teammates several times over the next few years, before becoming The Bludgeon Brothers.

In Rowan's final storyline in WWE, he carried a mysterious object to the ring in a cage before Drew McIntyre destroyed it and found a spider inside.

Rowan was released from the company as part of budget cuts in April 2020. He has since become Erick Redbeard and is currently performing on the Independent Circuit.

#2. Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was the patriarch of WWE's Wyatt Family and is widely considered to be one of the most creative minds in wrestling at present.

Wyatt led The Wyatt Family in NXT and the main roster, and became one of the company's most popular stars. Later, he came out of The Wyatt Family as an established main-eventer and became a WWE Champion.

It was then that The Fiend made his debut in WWE and was able to become one of the most popular stars in the history of the company.

The Fiend was a character of Wyatt's making who ran riot with his creativity. The character won the Universal Championship on two occasions before he was released from WWE earlier this year.

Bray Wyatt will be a free agent on October 31st after sitting out his non-compete clause and is currently being linked with a move over to AEW where he will be able to unleash a new character that he has been teasing for several months.

#1. Former WWE Superstar Luke Harper/Brodie Lee

Luke Harper was the third founding member of The Wyatt Family and remained part of the group throughout their stint in WWE.

Harper and Rowan remained together throughout their careers, working as allies and enemies as the storyline needed. Harper lifted the Intercontinental Championship in his early career and Tag Team Championships on two occasions throughout his WWE run.

Harper's request to be released from WWE in April 2018 was denied. But on December 8th, Harper was released, after which he moved to AEW where he became The Exalted One for The Dark Order under the name Mr. Brodie Lee.

Lee was part of AEW for seven months from March 2020 to October and captured the TNT Championship at that time.

The former WWE Superstar passed away on December 26th, 2020 after two months of being treated for a lung issue at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. His widow Amanda revealed that his cause of death was idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
