SmackDown was in Portland this week

All the results from this week’s episode of SmackDown from Portland, Oregon:

 – Chris Jericho kicks off the show with a promo about his match with AJ Styles. Their match is interrupted by the Social Outcasts and the duo team up against Curtis Axel and Adam Rose. Jericho and Styles win, but Y2J hits Styles with the Codebreaker after the win and says he will see him later.

 – Tables are arranged around the ring as clips of the WHC contract signing and Daniel Bryan announcing his retirement play on the big screen.

The Dudleys come out (Bubba looking more like Bully) and cut a promo as a clip of them turning on the Usos plays. Bubba then tears into Daniel Bryan for retiring, prompting resounding “Yes” chants.

He signs off by saying that there will be no more tables for the fans as the crowd chants “Save the tables”.

 – Clip of Goldust trying to recruit R-Truth

 – Divas action as Sasha Banks faces Naomi with Tamina at ringside and Becky Lynch on commentary. Tamina and Becky throwdown but the former comes out on top. Sasha knocks her out with a head kick and then submits Naomi with the Banks Statement.

 – Bray Wyatt leads his family to the ring for a promo. He says they’re going to destroy the ‘Titans’ of the WWE and rolls his eyes back, a la Undertaker. Much better promo than their recent ones, creepiness levels much higher.

 – Black history month video featuring the Junkyard Dog.

 – Another Daniel Bryan video.

 – AJ Styles against Chris Jericho is the main event. Excellent match that really got the crowd going. Styles reversed Walls of Jericho into the Calf Crusher at one point. He tries a Styles Clash but Jericho wins with the Codebreaker. Huge pops for Jericho as he closes out the show celebrating his win.
