I am not the only person to say this, and if you want some more information on the situation, you may check out the following views by Tom Colohue on Sportskeeda's YouTube channel as well. Could we potentially see Erick Rowan come back to SmackDown if you consider that we're headed towards a swamp match between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman and the former actually tweeted out this picture recently, which features Rowan?

It's mad how Harper & Rowan sat around doing nothing, with no creative, for the best part of the last two years, but the minute they've gone they book Strowman vs Wyatt in a Wyatt Family swamp match! 😬With that said, at least Braun sold it with his best promo yet on Smackdown.
Even though he has technically been released from the company, I wouldn't be surprised if Rowan was to return to SmackDown because we saw how Drake Maverick came back to NXT as well not long ago, even though it did seem that his WWE run was over.
I really wouldn't mind yet another Wyatt Family, this time with Rowan and maybe Bo Dallas, a trio that can potentially terrorize SmackDown and maybe even mix it up with Seth Rollins' faction at Survivor Series 2020.
And of course, Rowan deserves better than a silly spider gimmick, so this will definitely be a big step up for him, if it happens.
