Ziggler started off aggressive, pressing Sami Zayn. Zayn got the better of Ziggler for a while after, but The Show Off nearly picked up the fall with a famouser. Zayn halted Ziggler's momentum when he hit a top-rope exploder suplex.

Zayn's helluva kick missed and Ziggler landed a zig-zag, for a surprising kick out at two and a half. Zayn even threw Ziggler into the ring post shoulder first twice. Ziggler almost pinned Zayn with a small package but wasn't successful.

Sami Zayn would then land an exploder suplex and his next attempt at a Helluva kick was halted by a vicious superkick, giving Ziggler the win.
