#2 What’s cooking between Aalyah Mysterio and Murphy on WWE SmackDown?

In a shocking turn of events last week, we saw Aalyah Mysterio’s appearance leading to Rey Mysterio suffering a defeat against King Corbin. As a result, Corbin went on to book a spot for himself in the men’s team that will represent WWE SmackDown at the upcoming pay-per-view. But the events that followed didn’t do much favour to Aalyah Mysterio in any manner.

Later in the night, we saw Murphy helping Seth Rollins as the latter won his qualifier and earned a spot for himself in WWE SmackDown’s team. Following that, Murphy went up to Seth Rollins and stated that he is still a disciple to Rollins. While the latter celebrated being a Messiah, a heart-broken Aalyah Mysterio was seen confronting Murphy backstage.

She believed that Murphy betrayed her with his action on WWE SmackDown, but the latter asked her to ‘trust him’. It is evident that Murphy is planning something big. That being said, this storyline involving Rollins, the Mysterio family, and Murphy has been going on for a long time. Unless there are a few major twists headed our way, the creative should contemplate possible options to find a conclusion to this never-ending rivalry.
