Roman Reigns raises the stakes for SummerSlam on SmackDown
Roman Reigns was out next on SmackDown with Paul Heyman. John Cena joined him in the ring, with the crowd going nuts for the former WWE Champion. Roman got on the mic and said Cena said a 'lot of dumb stuff' to him last week.
Roman added that he would not let Cena misinform the fans by saying that he can beat Reigns, and Roman was about to set us straight. He made Heyman remind us of his win record before Cena said that he plans to take the title from Roman to embarrass Reigns and bring him back down to earth.
Cena reminded him that for 20 years, he said only one thing: Never Give Up; something he plans to do at SummerSlam to secure the Universal Title so he can take the title away until WrestleMania.
Reigns threatened to hurt Cena some more and said he could do movies and commercials if he wanted. Reigns raised the stakes by saying that he would leave WWE if Cena won the title from him.
Reigns tried to go for a Samoan Drop on Cena, but John reversed it into a rollup and walked off as SmackDown went off the air.
