Backstage on SmackDown, Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce told Zelina Vega that she could not get a title match tonight like we previously thought but it would instead be a match to prove herself worthy of a title shot.

Edge was out next and said that Seth Rollins' strategies reminded him of himself and that he would have done the same if anyone had gotten in the way of his title shot.
