– Smackdown, the B show in the WWE’s cabinet is rumored to undergo a huge change.
Smackdown has been on a steady decline since the brand split was tossed out and the two heavyweight titles were forged into one. Since then RAW has been the main show and Smackdown acts as an exposure to Upper mid carders and mid carders while also heavily featuring recaps from the last RAW.
It was noted earlier that WWE might have huge plans for Smackdown after the turn of the year. Jerry ‘the king’ Lawler teased during one of his interviews that there may be plans for Smackdown to go live in the near future. He stated this at comic con and also hinted that Smackdown is moving to the USA Network.
If Smackdown indeed goes live, it may be shifted to Tuesday nights to cut costs. Presently the show is recorded on Tuesday after the Monday Night RAW live show in an area nearby to where RAW takes place. The taping is then aired on Thursday. If it does go live, there will be significant changes in the Smackdown schedule.
While all of this is not a done deal, there are huge changes expected after January. It may include changes in the timing, changes in the network or if the fans are lucky a whole new brand split.
– ‘The Big Guy’ Ryback has made quite a name for himself in the WWE Universe. He came through the Tough Enough reality show a raw star who has been polished over the years to become one of the most over superstars currently.
The former Intercontinental Champion is big on social media. Ryback who boasts of a home gym posted on Instagram a photo of his new trampoline. He captions it by saying that he intends to learn flips and tricks to polish his craft more. Here is the photo.
– This Halloween, WWE Superstar Kane, and Diva Lana will be having a meet and greet with the fans at Austin, Texas. The ‘Devils favorite Demon' and the ‘Ravishing Russian’ are likely to turn some heads during the event.
