WWE SummerSlam 2019: 5 interesting stats and facts coming out of the show

It's been an interesting year for WWE's hottest power couple

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have publically declared that they are a real-life couple outside of the ring, but WWE has recently begun allowing the two stars to work together on WWE TV as well. Rollins and Lynch are the ideal power couple as Raw Women's Champion and Universal Champion and now both stars once again have their belts back around their waists following SummerSlam.

One interesting fact coming out of last night's show is the fact that Becky Lynch opened the event and was able to force Natalya to tap in their submission match, whilst Seth Rollins closed the show when he became Universal Champion against Brock Lesnar.

The roles were reversed just four months ago when Rollins opened WrestleMania in a match against Brock Lesnar where he lifted the Championship for the first time, before Becky Lynch was part of the main event against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair where she was able to walk out as the first-ever SmackDown and Raw Women's Champion.

Obviously, her reign only lasted until Money in the Bank when Charlotte Flair took the SmackDown Women's Championship back, but it's nice that WWE has allowed the couple to reverse the roles at their two biggest events of the year.

It's also worth noting that Becky and Seth were the Royal Rumble winners this year as well, so WWE could have some huge plans for them at Survivor Series.
