Seth Rollins won back the Universal Championship last night at SummerSlam

No one expected Seth Rollins to walk into SummerSlam last night and walk back out with the Universal Championship. Many members of the WWE Universe were concerned that Rollins may not have been able to walk out at all after the beating that he endured at the hands of Lesnar less than two weeks ago. But, somehow he dug down deep and was able to take the fight to The Beast.

This means that Rollins has now walked out of the last three SummerSlam events with three different Championships.

Back in 2017, he became a Raw Tag Team Champion when he was able to defeat The Bar alongside Dean Ambrose. Last year, he became Intercontinental Champion when he defeated Dolph Ziggler and this year he became Universal Champion after defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event.

It's also worth noting that he became United States Champion back in 2015 when he defeated John Cena, but was unsuccessful in his quest for gold back in 2016 since he came up short in a fantastic main event match against Finn Balor to be crowned the first-ever Universal Champion.

This means that Rollins has become a Grand Slam Champion at SummerSlam alone.
