Charly Caruso hosted the kickoff show for this year's SummerSlam where Renee Young joined her in her final WWE appearance. It was announced earlier in the week that Young had decided to quit the company. The former Talking Smack host hasn't yet revealed what she will be doing next, but she was given a decent farewell by the company.
Caruso didn't do a bad job stepping into Renee's shoes, but there was an interesting mistake which Caruso fed backstage to Sarah Schrieber who was interviewing Angel Garza, Andrade, and Zelina Vega ahead of their Championship match against The Street Profits.
Caruso stated that the RAW Tag Team Champions were joining Schrieber when The Street Profits are the Champions and retained their titles later in the night. Whilst Garza and Andrade did have a RAW Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam, the duo were unsuccessful and this interview was ahead of their match, so it's unclear why Caruso believed that the duo were the RAW Tag Team Champions.
