Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were successful in defending their RAW Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam. Zelina Vega falling off the apron was enough to distract Andrade and force Angel Garza to finish the match alone.
Ford was making his debut at SummerSlam when he was hit with a superkick from Garza which knocked him into Vega and sent her tumbling off the apron. It looked as though the kick hit Ford hard in the face since he was off balance for the rest of the match and almost botched the finish.

He needed to climb to the top rope and deliver a splash but he slipped off the top rope before stumbling to climb back up in time. When he delivered his splash he seemed to fall down sideways onto Garza before locking in the pin.
Ford looked fine after the bell as he celebrated with Dawkins, but he didn't seem as though he was firing on all cylinders when he was finishing up the match after that superkick.
