#4 and #3 Nikki Bella and Brie Bella return at SummerSlam 2021

SummerSlam 2021 could see the return of Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, together known as The Bella Twins. The two former Divas Champions got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Nikki Bella was in the news recently, thanks to Roman Reigns name-dropping her on SmackDown during his fierce promo battle against John Cena. Reigns took a massive shot at Cena while referring to his relationship with Nikki, saying:

"20 years of missionary was good enough for you, but it wasn't good enough for Nikki Bella," said Roman Reigns.

Ahead of the pay-per-view, Nikki Bella posted the following tweet, teasing a SummerSlam appearance.

Hhmmm looking through my closet and deciding what to wear to SummerSlam next week??? Thoughts? N

The tweet has got the fans speculating about a potential WWE return of The Bella Twins. The two have previously spoken about how they want to come back for one more run. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar, Brie Bella said that The Bella Twins are definitely going to make a comeback.

“I’ll never forget the moment that I wrestled Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam, and to see her three little girls - they were little at the time - their faces when we came back, they looked at their mom like she was a superhero, and I want that one day,” Brie said. “I just thought that was the coolest thing. So, the Bellas are definitely going to make a comeback. We don’t know exactly when but we said we have one more run in us and we’d really love to do it.”
