#4 A match between teams headed by legends

The match matters
The match matters

A match of great proportions needs to have something worthwhile after the event or match is over. That wasn't the case for the five-on-five tag team match between Team Hogan and Team Flair. The two legends picked up a team of 5 wrestlers who were supposed to represent two of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but it didn't provide the participants with an opportunity to take their feud forward.

As for any stories or aftermath following the match, the storylines were not continued, and that is where the issue exists. If the matches are happening between wrestlers, then they should convert into a storyline down the line, but the same never happened between Ricochet and Randy Orton, as well as, Shinsuke Nakamura and others.

The company should understand and ensure that they only make matches that will entice the fans as well as building towards other events down the road. As for now, the majority of bouts we've seen mattered little before or after each show in Saudi Arabia.
