#4. Did former WWE Champion The Miz really need that victory?
The dual-brand battle royal was only added to the show because the score would be tied with just six matches, so the company decided to have some fun on the kickoff show. There was no prize for the winner, but it seemed that there could be a confidence boost for whoever was able to outlast everyone else.
Chad Gable and Dominik Mysterio definitely stood out as part of the match and made it appear as though one of them would pick up the win before WWE decided to reset back to their usual format.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
The Miz didn't need that win, he is already Mr. Money in the Bank and technically one win away from being WWE or Universal Champion. Honestly, he had no place being in the match at all, and the way he won took away the hard work that Dominik and Gable had already achieved for SmackDown.
Chad Gable has just changed his name back and really could have done with a confidence-boosting win, whilst Dominik Mysterio hasn't wrestled a match for a while and has been on the sidelines since moving to SmackDown. Either of these men could have taken that victory over The Miz.
