The women of WWE have been making history all over the place in 2019, so it's apt that the final pay-per-view of the year will once again see the women make history as they take part in the first-ever Women's Tag Team TLC match.

The Women's Tag Team Championships will be on the line this weekend when Asuka and Kairi Sane defend against the miss-matched team of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The two women have their issues over the years but the fact that they currently have a common enemy and are unable to overcome the threat of the two stars on their own means that they have been forced to team up in an attempt to dethrone the current Women's Tag Team Champions.

#5 Charlotte and Becky Lynch become Women's Tag Team Champions

Charlotte and Becky Lynch are two of the original Four Horsewomen of NXT, so it's written in the stars that they will probably become Tag Team Champions since the first-ever Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks make up the Four Horsewomen stable.

That being said, Asuka and Kairi Sane have defined the Women's Tag Team Division over the past few months and have proven that they won't be an easy obstacle to overcome. Whilst Lynch is a former dual Championship and Charlotte Flair has amassed an impressive 10 Women's Championship reigns in her short career, together the two women have had a number of interesting bouts and it may be hard for them to work together towards a joint prize.

The fact that Charlotte would become the first woman to win the Tag Team, RAW, SmackDown, Divas and NXT Women's Championships if she's able to overcome The Kabuki Warriors could be enough to see the two women to victory.

#4 The Kabuki Warriors retain their titles

Will Asuka and Kairi Sane come out on top?

The Kabuki Warriors were able to defeat Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross back at Hell in a Cell to become the new Champions. Even though the titles have been overlooked throughout the last few months, Asuka and Kairi Sane have still been able to legitimize the titles in their own way.

Given the fact that Charlotte and Becky Lynch are much bigger stars and could easily push the titles to a new level if they won, they would be the predictable winners, but WWE owes Asuka a push that could see her overcome the two women on Sunday night.

Asuka's green mist has led her to a number of interesting wins over some of the company's top stars, including Charlotte Flair, who will stand across the ring from her on Sunday night.

Both Asuka and Sane are former NXT Women's Champions in their own right, so they shouldn't be overlooked in this match, especially since it's likely that Ronda Rousey will be making her return at The Royal Rumble to pick a fight with Lynch and the Irish star has already made it clear that she doesn't like being in the Tag Team Division.

#3 Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax or The IIconic's interfere

Where are The IIconics?
Where are The IIconics?

Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax came up short in their quest for Women's Tag Team Championship gold back at WrestleMania and neither woman has had a match on WWE TV since.

Nia Jax blew out both of her ACLs ahead of WrestleMania so she was forced to undergo surgery and Tamina was taken off TV at the same time. The Tag Team Division has been dominated by The Kabuki Warriors and Becky and Charlotte over the past few months, which has to be annoying The IIconics backstage.

Given the fact that this is a TLC match, it means that there can be interference so the likes of Tamina, Nia Jax, and The IIconics can interfere to cost either team the titles.

Jax has updated her Instagram to show that she is back in the ring following surgery and could easily do a run-in spot on Sunday night. There needs to be some kind of interference in the division since these four women are the only ones part of storylines right now so when Charlotte and Becky go back to solo storylines, there will be no one left to challenge for the titles.

#2 Becky Lynch doesn't turn up

Will Becky Lynch turn up?

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have battled over the Women's Championship numerous times and were even part of the historic first-ever Women's WrestleMania main event in April. Lynch came out on top by pinning Rousey which meant that Charlotte lost her title even though she wasn't part of the finish.

The Queen later reclaimed her title when she defeated Lynch at Money in the Bank only to once again lose the title to Bayley a few seconds later. This shows that there is some history there and leading into this match on Sunday night, Becky Lynch has already proved that she's a flight risk.

The current RAW Women's Champion was missing for two weeks whilst Charlotte Flair was looking to pick up where she left off with The Kabuki Warriors, so there's nothing stopping her from deciding not to turn up at TLC as well. Lynch has made it clear that she's not happy in the Tag Team Championship picture so why would she care about winning the titles?

Charlotte would step into the match on her own because she is that kind of person, but the former Women's Champion wouldn't stand a chance in a TLC match against two other former Champions.

#1 Charlotte and Becky Lynch fail to co-exist

Will Charlotte and Becky Lynch be able to co-exist at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs?

Charlotte and Becky Lynch have history, that much is obvious and whilst Becky is still RAW Women's Champion she will have a target on her back. Given half the chance, Charlotte would love to send a message to The Man and get herself back into the Women's Championship picture, but right now she wants to exact some revenge on Asuka for the green mist she was given a few weeks ago.

Becky Lynch also has some negative thoughts when it comes to teaming with her long-time friend and rival so she could easily be the one to turn on Charlotte when she sees that the match isn't going her way. After all, it was Charlotte's fault that she was dragged into the Tag Team Championship picture because she helped her in the UK last month when Natalya wasn't available.

Seth Rollins recently turned heel, so could Becky Lynch join her fiance on the dark side this weekend by turning on Charlotte and deciding on her own challenger for the RAW Women's Championship heading into The Royal Rumble.
