Could Liv Morgan make a shocking comeback at WWE TLC?
Could Liv Morgan make a shocking comeback at WWE TLC?

WWE TLC is coming our way this weekend and it's going to be the last pay-per-view event of 2019. The lead-up to the show hasn't been the best, but WWE has certainly raised the anticipation with solid shows of RAW and also SmackDown this past week.

So, how does WWE convince the audience that they need to tune in and watch professional wrestling over the Holiday Season, you ask? One surefire way to ensure the same is to have a betrayal or two on the show, to revive fan interest again!

In this article, I shall list 5 betrayals that could potentially happen on the show that could make WWE TLC very interesting indeed, in my opinion. Be sure to chime in with your thoughts and comments in the section below, dear reader.

Even if you disagree with my assessment, be sure to let me know!

#5 Liv Morgan shows up as The Fiend, costing The Miz his big match

This week on RAW, we were told that Liv Morgan would be getting an interesting makeover. And then, on SmackDown, we saw a doll in the Firefly Fun House that looked exactly like Liv Morgan. The internet has gone crazy with speculation and I can certainly see Morgan as Bray Wyatt's aide.

While it wouldn't necessarily be a betrayal in the truest sense of the word, considering that Morgan was a babyface when we saw her last; when she said she would return after discovering who she really was, her turning on Bryan would be shocking. The only reason I can't see this happening is because she is a RAW Superstar.

But then Sami Zayn has been going from brand to brand offering his managerial services to underutilized talents, so who really knows anything?

#4 Daniel Bryan shows up as The Fiend, after his two-week absence

Daniel Bryan is missing, WWE Universe! The last time we saw him was when The Fiend pulled him to the depths of hell and seemingly clipped all his hair!

In case it is not Liv Morgan who shows up at WWE TLC to help Bray Wyatt pick up the win as The Fiend, it could certainly be Daniel Bryan, who has been a member of the Wyatt Family in the past as well. Shoutout to my friend and colleague Phillipa Marie who speculated that the pigtails on the new doll that resembles Liv Morgan could be made from Daniel Bryan's hair!

Maybe it's a long and winding road to the return of the 'Yes!' movement and I can certainly buy into this storyline. Daniel Bryan has done some fabulous character work over the past year and he continues to keep me intrigued.

#3 John Morrison returns to cost The Miz, big time

We all know about the history between The Miz and John Morrison, and in case you watched WWE's The Bump recently you know that the two men remain close friends to this very day. And this could certainly be the setup for a pretty massive betrayal.

Let's say that a pumped-up Miz finally has Bray Wyatt's number after a very heated match when John Morrison arrives to lay the man out. It would lead to a feud between Morrison and Miz and I know that a lot of people would like to see it!

The Miz has been doing some of the best work of his life at this time, and whatever he does turns to gold. To keep his momentum up, he needs a red-hot feud with a star like John Morrison.

He's fizzled out far too many times because of poor booking.

#2 Charlotte Flair betrays Becky Lynch to cost them the match

So, recently, in the lead-up to TLC, I decided to do an article about mistakes that WWE should not make at the upcoming pay-per-view event. During the course of the article, one of the points that I mentioned was taking the titles off Asuka and Kairi Sane at TLC. And this is because it would effectively bury the division.

Remember what happened to the men's tag team division on RAW when Nicholas and Braun Strowman won the Championships, to the shock of the WWE Universe? Something similar would happen in this case, because it would mean that the women's division does not matter beyond Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. So how does WWE keep the titles around the waist of The Kabuki Warriors then?

The simplest solution would be for Charlotte Flair to betray Becky Lynch during the match, setting up their own feud!

#1 Lana betrays Bobby Lashley

I know that a lot of people are hoping that the clash between Bobby Lashley and Rusev is effectively the end of their feud, but if you've seen the high social media numbers for this segment, you know that there's no chance of that at all. WWE will find a new, unique way to continue this angle in any manner that they possibly can!

One of the ways to achieve this is to certainly have Lana betray Bobby Lashley to showcase that she was in love with Rusev all long, costing him the match! It would certainly cause this feud to extend until the Royal Rumble.

I wouldn't necessarily be a fan of such an angle, but it's certainly quite possible. I mean we've all seen more shocking betrayals in the past, have we not?

And in some ways, we all know that this angle could certainly be coming!
