Big Show, Miz and Paige to return next week
The week after Payback might play host to an array of returns in the WWE as Big Show, Paige and Miz are rumored to be ready for their comebacks.
Big Show was kept out after Extreme Rules to sell the Last Man standing match he had with Roman Reigns and it would be interesting to see where he gets put in if he does make his return. Meanwhile, Paige and Miz were busy with their film project till now and we might get some promotions of the same once they return.
Paige is the most likely one to return from the three since she already made an appearance in a live show where he helped The Bellas to fend off Naomi and Tamina.
Jim Ross and AJ Styles linked with GFW
Jeff Jarrett is pulling all the right strings for his new company Global Force Wrestling. Jarrett has secured some interesting names like Shelton Benjamin, Chris Masters and more for his roster so far and is looking for new additions as well.
The company was recently linked with WWE legend Jim Ross and Former TNA World Champion AJ Styles. GFW has already announced that Chael Sonnen will be one of the play by play announcers for the match and adding JR into the table will certainly earn then some fans. As far as AJ Styles is concerned, he is one of the hottest commodities in the independent scene and GFW will have themselves a main event player in him.
If Jarrett manages to sign these two and add some more big names like this in the coming months, he will have a good enough roster to pose some threat to WWE.
Samoa Joe signs two-year deal with WWE
The biggest rumor of last week, as you would have guessed already was the Samoa Joe one. According to the speculations, Joe has signed a new two-year deal with WWE and will make his debut in the latest NXT special. There is a positive vibe around the NXT area about Joe and Triple H in special is pretty high on the potential newcomer.
Joe getting involved with Kevin Owens after the main event is one of the possible scenarios that could come out of Joe’s debut. Even if Joe is going to start out in NXT, the chances of him staying there for a long time are low thanks to the experience and age factors.
