Fans have wanted Roman Reigns to go heel for a very long time now. But the fact of the matter is that WWE has always refused to pull the trigger on him. They believe that if he does go heel, fans will start cheering for him. The WWE Universe consists of a bunch of trolls.
And 'how could Roman Reigns go heel after beating leukaemia?' they will ask. Well, a surprise is never a surprise if you're expecting it and therefore, it makes all the sense in the world to turn Reigns now. Especially when the fans least expect the heel turn.

So Roman Reigns can be at ringside supporting his Shield Brother, after defeating his own opponent, Drew McIntyre. And then, when one least expects it, he can cost Rollins the match.
After all, Reigns never lost the Universal Championship, did he?
