#1 John Cena could surprise everyone at WrestleMania

He may have ruled out a WrestleMania return, but there's always the possibility of John Cena showing up at Raymond James Stadium. He has made surprise appearances at past 'Manias, once while recovery from a shoulder injury.

Cena has not missed a single WrestleMania since his debut in 2002, with his appearance at 'Mania 19 coming on the pre-show. What he does following his surprise appearance is anybody's guess. The 16-time world champion will likely cut a promo.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

It could be one that caters to the live crowd until Cena gets interrupted by another superstar. Again, Elias is a possibility. The two have a history at the Grandest Stage of Them All, as Cena took The Drifter out for two straight WrestleManias. He could do so for the third time this year.

The least we can expect from him is an appearance via satellite from his filming bubble, but a live appearance cannot be ruled out. Hopefully, John Cena comes back to WWE for one final run. A storyline for him towards a potential 17th world title victory sounds compelling.
