Rey and Dominik Mysterio have been part of the Tag Team Championship picture for months heading into WrestleMania Backlash.
The pair could make history with a victory over The Dirty Dawgs this weekend by becoming the first father and son Tag Team Champions. The momentum is firmly in their favor since Mysterio was able to defeat Dolph Ziggler this past week on SmackDown. They are now looking to lift gold together for the first time.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode haven't been featured much as Champions and weren't even able to be part of the Wrestle Mania card last month. This will likely be Rey and Dominik's last chance at the Championships. If they are unable to walk out victorious at WrestleMania Backlash, that may be it for them as the duo have been given a number of shots in recent months.
