UFC 300, which transpired at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on April 13, 2024, was among the most hyped fight cards of the last few years. Many believe that it not only met but surpassed expectations.

The UFC has now put forth a press release addressing some of the metrics in relation to the tricentennial PPV (pay-per-view).

Per a press release on ESPN, it was the most-watched UFC PPV early prelims card and prelims card ever on ESPN. It was the most-watched UFC prelims ever across the Hulu SVOD, ESPN+, ESPN, and ESPN Deportes together.

Aaron Bronsteter of Sportsnet has put forth a tweet highlighting salient points from the UFC's press release regarding the UFC 300 event's incredible statistics. The tweet comprised a couple of images from the press release, in which it was asserted that the event had a live gate collection of $16.5 million, making it the third highest-grossing UFC event in that respect.

The card marked the UFC's eleventh consecutive sellout since Oct. 2023 and its sixth successive sellout in 2024. The attendance was 20,067, making it a new record for a UFC card at the T-Mobile Arena. It was the most-viewed sports event among total viewers and key demographics on network and cable TV on Saturday (April 13, 2024) during primetime (i.e., 8 pm-10 pm ET).

The card's prelims were the most-watched ever on ESPN, with around 1.86 million viewers as a whole. The viewership is said to have consistently grown during the prelims and peaked at 2.49 million viewers entering the main card.

All of the event's available inventory is believed to have sold out and recorded the highest-grossing sponsorship sales for any UFC event ever. It boasts the highest merchandise sales for a non-stadium UFC event and the second-highest merchandise sales for a UFC event overall (with UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm stadium event in Australia still at No. 1).

Of all the UFC events screened at movie theaters, the UFC 300 card drew the highest number of participating theaters. The UFC 300 commercial PPV sales were the highest in the US since UFC 264 (July 2021), highest in Canada since UFC 248 (March 2020), and highest in Australia since UFC 257 (Jan. 2021).

Record-breaking bonuses delivered after legendary UFC 300 card

The event accrued more than 1.1 billion views on social media during fight week (April 8-13). Of that, around 213 million was courtesy of Max Holloway's BMF title fight KO win over Justin Gaethje, viewed on several platforms.

Other notable points mentioned in the UFC's press release are that the event was record-breaking in regard to cross-platform video views, interactions, and impressions. Overall, it was the best-performing UFC event on social media.

Furthermore, it's an event that witnessed the highest disclosed bonuses handed to fighters in UFC history at a given event, at approximately $1.2 million, out of which $600,000 went to Holloway for his all-time-great knockout victory.
