The Cenation leader will be a great opponent for AJ StylesThe rumors about AJ Styles returning to WWE has been a topic of serious discussion among the wrestling circle for the past week weeks. The recent interactions of AJ Styles in the independent circuit suggest a deal with WWE and the moment of his arrival will be widely celebrated.Royal Rumble is likely to be the stage for the debut of Styles, but it is time for us to look beyond the initial pop. He will receive a warm welcome from the WWE fans anyways, but what happens after that? AJ needs some credible feuds to stay relevant in the roster and we are going to list down some of the mouth-watering feuds that he could be involved in.

#5 Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho has a special talent when it comes to putting over talent. This match should have happened some time back, but as both Styles and Jericho were travelling different paths, it didn’t. In 2016, the in-ring action might be a bit toned down, but there won’t be any lack of excitement.
Jericho and Styles are veterans in the business and they will have no trouble putting together a classic despite the physical limitations. On paper, it might sound like a less hyped feud for AJ Styles, but for a start, this one would be epic. All these factors along with the creative input of Jericho could do wonders for the WWE career of Styles.
#4 Finn Balor
We are bound to see a Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles feud in WWE at some point. According to the rumors, WWE is bringing in the New Japan Pro Wrestling stars to be part of the company’s version of the Bullet Club. If that is indeed the case, then possibly, the first major feud of AJ Styles could be against Finn Balor.
Spending AJ Styles in a stable under Finn Balor will open the doors for a feud between Balor and Styles as the latter is too big to be just a member of the faction. Styles and Balor are bound to have some great in-ring chemistry as well.
#3 Brock Lesnar
At this point of time, everyone wants to get in the ring with Brock Lesnar. He is a legitimate athlete and having a match with Lesnar is like a dream scenario for the wrestlers out there. AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar have contrasting wrestling styles. Remember the time when Eddie Guerrero faced Brock Lesnar at No Way Out? The match was a big success due to the underdog factor and the brilliance of Eddie and Lesnar between the ropes.
Now, I’m not comparing AJ Styles to Eddie, but an AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar match could be a similar one. AJ Styles might not win in the end, but the match could draw big.

There are a lot of similarities between Seth Rollins and AJ Styles. Their mode of work and level of commitment belongs to that long list of similarities. Although the rule of nature says opposites attract, this case could be an exception. A Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles match is a dream scenario for all the wrestling fans out there.
We might have to wait a long time to see this, but when it will finally happen, it is going to be a show stealer for sure. Seth Rollins has an incredible record when it comes to working with opponents with certain credibility and the same could be seen with Styles as well.

Back in the time frame of 2005-2007, this would have broken the internet. John Cena was the face of WWE while AJ Styles was carrying TNA on his shoulders. In fact, whenever the talk of an inter-promotional show came, this was the first match that most fans threw into the hat. Fast forward a decade and this match still could sell tickets if WWE books it properly.
The setting is perfect; Cena is the face of a corporate world that has been a threat to the independent scene. AJ Styles meanwhile comes in as the guy who has travelled the world and seen it all. As far as the in-ring action is concerned, with so much experience between them, the match is sure to be a solid one.
