WrestleMania 31: 5 Superstars who will shine at the Pay-Per-View

If there is any place a wrestler wants to make his mark, it is WrestleMania. Almost all the superstars out there, start their career with the dream of making it into Mania and when some of them go on to live that dream, others will lick their wounds and hope for next year.WrestleMania 31 will provide the same opportunity for the superstars this year and the entire roster will be looking to snatch their moment. Some superstars, however are placed better than others to steal the limelight. And here is a look at those names that could shine when WrestleMania hits the Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara on March 29, 2015.

#6 Honorable Mention: Stardust

The rumored match between Stardust and Goldust won’t happen from the looks of it. Both the brothers might be pushed into the Ladder match for intercontinental championship and Cody has a slot to shine. He has been impressive as Stardust so far and with a stage like WrestleMania, he could deliver a solid act.

#5 Bray Wyatt

Last year Bray Wyatt had the biggest match of his career against John Cena, this year, he will have a much more important outing against the Undertaker.

To his credit, Bray has been carrying the feud in his shoulders alone due to Taker’s absence. Thanks to his brilliance with the mic, the eater of the worlds has kept the WWE Universe captive. There is some speculation here and there about Taker appearing at Mania, but from what we know about the WWE, the Bray vs. Taker match is sure to happen.

Bray will be responsible for carrying the Phenom throughout the match and with such a stage at his disposal, Bray is destined to shine.

#4 Daniel Bryan

What makes Daniel Bryan a potential show stealer at WrestleMania is the fans. They will be disappointed with how he is not in the main event and would be looking to make their voice heard during whichever match Bryan wrestles in.

The possibilities for Bryan at the moment are two: either he could be in the ladder match for Intercontinental championship or he could have a one on one outing with Dolph Ziggler.

Both the situations look perfect for a superstar like Bryan. He will be giving his best out as always and though we might not be able to witness a moment like last year, Bryan will give the fans a lot to cheer about.

#3 Curtis Axel

Being a Paul Heyman guy never helped Curtis Axel but apparently a rip off of Hulk Hogan is doing wonders for him. Axel had a promising start under the management of Heyman and went on to win the Intercontinental championship.

However, WWE soon dropped the ball on him and once he lost both Heyman and the gold, it was back to mediocrity for Axel. Coincidently or incidentally, his luck turned upside down in Royal Rumble.

The new gimmick of being a superstar who overvalues himself is apt for Axel and even though he might not get any big win at the pay-per-view, he is going to give us a moment or two to remember.

#2 Sting

The decade long wait will come to an end when Sting will make his debut at WrestleMania. The entire wrestling business would be treating the moment as a big deal and it is sure to add a lot of pressure on the Icon’s shoulders.

But there are a certain number of factors that work in favor of Sting. First of all his experience, though he has not wrestled in Mania, he knows how it is like to be in such a prestigious stage. Secondly, he will share the squared circle with Hunter.

Triple H will be doing his best to put over Sting at the show and the chances of a screw up are low. Above all, the fans would be swept away by nostalgia that they would care less about the quality of the match.

#1 Roman Reigns

If everything goes right, WrestleMania 31 will go down into the history books as the pay-per-view that marked the start of Roman Reigns era. Reigns will be facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Mania and it has all the looks of a torch passing moment.

Lesnar has been built up as an unstoppable force so far. He conquered the streak at last year’s Mania and destroyed John Cena at SummerSlam. With such momentum on his shoulders, anyone who defeats Lesnar would be instantly shot to the stars.

WWE’s concern should be about the fans. The WWE universe is unpredictable most of the times and no one can surely say what their emotions are going to be once Reigns stands across a fallen Lesnar and lifts the title.
