WWE Monday Night Raw preview: 26 October, 2015

Alberto Del Rio

Can he be the new DOO?The road to Survivor Series has officially begun with the conclusion of Hell in a Cell.Hell in a Cell certainly lived up to its hype and WWE will have to ride on the momentum for Survivor Series as well. But before WWE could think about booking matches for their next pay-per-view, they need to wrap up every angle that they had for Hell in a Cell. This week’s Monday Night Raw will be the crucial stop for the same. WWE has a lot of questions to answer and a lot of questions to raise in the latest edition of their flagship show. So here is a look at the possible segments that they will line up.

#5 The Mexican with the US title

Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio’s return was one of the biggest news from last night’s Hell in a Cell.

The Mexican was released from WWE just months earlier and his return caught most of the fans off-guard. He went on to win the United State Championship from Cena as well and Del Rio is here to stay. There are two major questions ahead of Del Rio’s title run.

How will WWE write John Cena off television and how is WWE planning to book Alberto Del Rio? Both these questions should be answered this week on Raw. They should throw in some light into the relationship between Del Rio and Zeb Colter as well.

#4 Next challenge for Charlotte

Charlotte

Charlotte and Nikki Bella had a spectacular bout at Hell in a Cell for the Divas Championship.

It was hands down the best title match from the division in ages and both the women deserve credit for performing to such levels. The match, however, is in the books and it is now time to look forward.

WWE should keep Nikki out of the title picture and come up with a new challenge for Charlotte.

Paige and Sasha Banks are the two names likely to get the push and it would be a swerve if WWE comes up with someone else. Nikki’s exit apparently is sure and in short, the divas division is going to get exciting.

#3 New director of Operations

Eric Bishoff

Seth Rollins came out with a solid win against Demon Kane at Hell in a Cell.

According to the stipulation, corporate Kane will now be fired from the company and this opens up an exciting door for WWE. First, they could have a great segment on Raw involving Kane. Secondly, they could have someone new come in and fill in the position of DOO.

There are certain names in the mix, but the stand out name would be David Otunga. He has already announced his intentions on Twitter. Another long shot would be Eric Bischoff. Bischoff is in good terms with WWE and such a powerful performer like him will always be an asset to the company.

#2 Future of Reigns

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns apparently wrapped up his feud with Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell with a win.

It is time for Reigns to search for something new and the feud should kick off at Raw itself. Reigns challenging Rollins is the best possibility or WWE could stick with Reigns – Wyatt storyline and have a traditional Survivor Series match between these guys.

Another wrestler who needs a new storyline is Kevin Owens. He was simply awesome against Ryback and it would be an insult not to give him a credible opponent next. Ambrose and New Day also needs new paths and hopefully WWE will give everyone what they deserve.

#1 The New face of fear

Bray Wyatt

Taker and Lesnar tore each other apart last night. It was hands down the best match on the card but what happened after the match captured the curiosity of WWE fans.

Bray Wyatt interfered Taker during his trademark air guitar gesture and we might get to see a full-blown feud between Wyatt and Taker ahead of Survivor Series.

Considering that Taker is outnumbered against the Wyatts, the chances of getting a Brothers of Destruction reunion are high. Or else, WWE could simply make a fool out of everyone and keep the Undertaker off television till next year’s Royal Rumble.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
