WWE taped its Smackdown episode on Tuesday night from Fayetteville, North Carolina which means that like every week, we have the early unwrapped spoilers fro you.
So if you are the impatient type who likes to know the events two days prior to the network broadcast, here are the spoilers from the Battleground go home show.
- The night kicks off with Dean Ambrose making his way into the ring. He talks about the assault he received from Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins on last Monday Night Raw and he wants revenged tonight
- Alberto Del Rio defeats Kofi Kingston
- Alicia Fox and Eva Marie face each other in a Divas match with Nikki Bella as guest referee. The match ends in a no contest after which both attack Nikki.
- Chris Jericho came out next as he cut a promo on the Wyatt Family before taking on Luke Harper in a singles match. Both the superstars engaged in a back and forth action as Jericho kicked out from a Harper Powerbomb. Jericho tried to apply the Walls of Jericho but was interfered by Eric Rowan and eventually Bray Wyatt. The Usos came to Y2J’s rescue.
- Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter came out to a positive reception for an in-ring segment. But Lana and Alexander Rusev interrupted to cut another anti-American promo.
- Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus teamed up to battle against Fandango and The Miz in a tag-team match. In the end, the Celtic Warrior and Showoff did enough to win the bout.
- Battleground Diva opponents AJ Lee and Paige formed a tag-team to face Summer Rae and Layla. Aj picked up the victory after making Summer tap out.
- Dean Ambrose took on the Big Red Monster Kane in the main event match of the night. The match concluded after Seth Rollins interfered with the proceedings allowing Kane to Chokeslam Ambrose and bring in steel steps. Rollins hits the Stomp on Ambrose on the steel steps as Smackdown ended. Roman Reigns ran in to make the save, but that was possibly during the dark segment.
