#2. AEW Star Matt Hardy

AEW Star Matt Hardy worked in WWE for many years throughout his long career. During his time in WWE, Hardy shared the ring with Triple H several times.

In 2018, Matt Hardy spoke about Triple H's role in bringing him and his brother, Jeff, back to WWE a year earlier.

"I pretty much dealt one-on-one with Triple H the whole while dealing with the process of coming back to the company. And I can't say enough good things about Triple H and how amazing he was to work with then and how he great has been since then. Being there, just working with him back and forth, he's been an amazing advocate for me. If there is something I need, some help or I need to make a tweak in something, he's been there. Just so successful and so great on so many levels - I can't say enough good things about Triple H and his help since we've returned," Matt Hardy told GiveMeSport.

Hardy left WWE again in 2020 to join AEW. After joining AEW, the 47-year-old revealed on the Talk is Jericho podcast that he might have had a better opportunity in WWE if Triple H was the one running the company.

"I feel like if Triple H would have been the guy who was solely in power, I probably would have had a much better opportunity at getting to do what I wanted creatively, but it is what it is," he said.

Hardy made his AEW debut in May 2020. He teamed up with Kenny Omega to face Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight Tag Team match, but came up short.

Later, the 47-year-old formed a stable called The Hardy Office. The group includes Private Party and The Hybrid 2. The Hardy Office recently lost a 10-man tag team match against Best Friends and Jurassic Express at the 2021 All Out pay-per-view.
