Excalibur and Taz welcomed all the viewers to a very special edition of AEW Dark. The post-Double or Nothing episode of AEW Dark featured an unusually small card, but the wrestlers featured still managed to deliver the goods.


The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth & Cezar Bononi) (w/ Peter Avalon) vs. The Gunn Club on AEW Dark

Colten and Billy Gunn got a decent pop from the fans in attendance, and Billy applauded the returning crowds during his entrance.

The teams took some time to decide who'd open the match. Colten Gunn and Ryan Nemeth engaged in the early feel-out process. Nemeth got the advantage with a mat exchange.

Colten fired back with a shoulder tackle, a deep arm drag, a hip toss and a scoop slam to finish the sequence.

Billy Gunn came in and hit a double back elbow with son Colten. Cezar Bononi entered the match, and the crowd popped for the clash between the giants.

Billy Gun clobbered Bononi with a very stiff clothesline. The veteran followed it up with a kick to Bononi and tag to Colten, who came in and delivered a dropkick.

Peter Avalon grabbed Colten's leg from the outside as the Wingmen took control of the match. Nemeth executed a headstand hammerlock. The Hollywood Hunk was loose on his feet and danced around the ring while he punished Colten.

Bononi came in and tried to keep Colten down with a headlock. Cezar picked Colten up and tossed him across the ring. He charged through with a tackle in the corner, followed by a back body suplex.

Colten finally created the separation and tagged Billy. Papa Gunn hit two big lariats on the Wingmen before isolating Bononi for the Famouser. Nemeth rushed in to break the pin.

Colten got the tag and went on the offensive against Nemeth. Colten hit the Colt 45 for the win.

Jungle Boy cut a backstage promo ahead of his AEW Dark main event against Bear Bronson.

Kris Statlander (w/ Best Friends) vs. Robyn Renegade on AEW Dark

It was boop city on AEW Dark as Kris Statlander used her index finger to 'boop' everyone during her entrance. The match got underway, and both women engaged in a wristlock exchange.

Statlander executed a spree of cartwheels, and she booped Robyn at the end of the sequence. The crowd absolutely loved the spot!

The action moved to the ringside area, and Statlander continued the offense with a backbreaker. Kris broke the ten-count by rolling into the ring. Renegade got back into the match with a sling blade. She took the top mount position and connected with some nasty punches.

Robyn worked on wearing down Statlander and delivered a suplex, but the timing was odd as Statlander didn't time the jump. Robyn still managed to get Statlander over for a snap suplex.

Statlander responded with a deadlift German suplex. AEW's Alien came running through with a running knee strike in the corner, followed by a powerslam for a two-count.

Renegade hit a jawbreaker and a shotgun dropkick. She proceeded to get a two-count after a double knee strike. Statlander escaped from the firewoman's carry position and hit her "Big Bang Theory" finisher for the win on AEW Dark.

Statlander was spitting blood, and it seemed like she busted open her lip during the AEW Dark match.

Result: Kris Statlander def. Robyn Renegade on AEW Dark

TH2 & Serpentico (w/ Luther) vs. Dark Order's Alan "5" Angels, Stu Grayson & Alex Reynolds on AEW Dark

The two masked wrestlers kicked off the match with a fast-paced exchange. They traded arm drags before Angels hit a belly-to-belly suplex.

All three members of the Dark Order hit a combination move. Reynolds got a two-count before tagging himself out of the match. Angels came back in but got caught in the wrong corner. Luther attacked Angels' groin area while the referee wasn't looking, and other Dark Order members ran in for the save. They chased Luther away, and the entire ringside crew vanished.

The heels were on top as TH2 hit a neckbreaker-backbreaker combo on Angels. Jack Evans got a one-count with a leg lariat.

There was a hilarious moment during the match where Serpentico seemed confused as Luther wasn't around to use him as a weapon.

Evans got back in and hit a side Russian leg-sweep. Angels created some space with a series of punches. Angels went for the tag, but Serpentico stopped him in his tracks.

5 delivered a clutch standing Spanish Fly on Serpentico before tagging in Reynolds.

Alex hit a flurry of moves on Angelico before shifting his attention to Evans, the legal man. Grayson made the blind tag, and he smartly came in and spiked Evans into the mat.

The Dark Order hit another trios move for a near fall. Serpentico broke the pin with a cannonball senton before Reynolds missed the small package driver.

Serpentico cleared the ring but got caught with a thrust kick. The Chaos Project member rocked Reynolds with another thrust kick and a low-angle DDT. Evans came flying through from the top with the 450 Splash.

Alex Reynolds miraculously kicked out of the pinfall! Angels and Grayson pulled Angelico and Serpentico out of the ring.

Evans was in a terrible spot as Grayson hit the Knightfall (torture rack into a backbreaker) finisher for the win on AEW Dark.

AEW Dark Co-Main Event: Diamante vs. Red Velvet on AEW Dark

Diamante controlled Red Velvet's arms to begin the penultimate match of this week's AEW Dark.

Velvet hit a nice leg lariat to ground Diamante. She followed it with kicks in the corner. Diamante, however, caught Red Velvet's ankle and reversed an Irish Whip into a vicious hammer throw in the corner.

Velvet crashed head-first into the steel turnbuckle. Velvet used her boxing background to put together a sequence of punches to the head and body. Diamante regained control with a shotgun dropkick and the Three Amigos.

Red Velvet attempted to mount a comeback in the match, but Diamante was relentless with her attack. Diamante got a near fall with a no-hands running splash. Diamante caught Red Velvet in the corner with a backstabber.

Diamante looked great tonight, but her momentum came to a halt after Velvet hit a low-trajectory crossbody from the top rope.

Velvet delivered two clotheslines, followed by a double knee strike in between the ropes. Red Velvet then got a near fall with a standing moonsault. She got another two-count with a running Stunner.

Diamante countered Velvet's kick with a standing sliced bread. The Hispanic star could have picked up the win with a tighter pinfall.

Diamante continued to look for the win with a brutal release German suplex. Red Velvet showed her toughness by kicking out of every cover.

Red Velvet reversed another German suplex by landing on her feet. The babyface star connected with her finishing kick for the win.

Result: Red Velvet def. Diamante on AEW Dark

Grade: B-


The Dark Order spoke about working in front of the crowd in an entertaining backstage segment.


AEW Dark Main Event: Jungle Boy (w/ Jurassic Express) vs. Bear Bronson

Jungle Boy is a true workhorse for AEW as the youngster just can't stop competing. Taz singing his own rendition of Jungle Boy's theme song in front of the fans was absolutely incredible!

The fans inside the Daily's Place chanted wildly for Jungle Boy. What an atmosphere! Bear Bronson looked unfazed by his opponent's popularity as he dropped Jungle Boy with a shoulder block.

Bronson took the fight to Jungle Boy with some stiff strikes. Jungle Boy used his quickness, but he couldn't execute an arm drag on the towering Bronson.

Jungle Boy's overhand chops echoed around the arena. He finally took Bronson down with a dropkick, and the fans were already on their feet. Bronson trucked Jungle Boy with a big back elbow. Bronson continued to batter Jungle Boy with cross-face shots.

Bronson got a two-count with a short-arm clothesline.

Jungle Boy fought out of a headlock and hit a low crossbody for a two-count. Bronson responded with a massive clothesline and a senton for a near fall.

The crowd got behind Jungle Boy as the star landed some heavy shots. He hit the ropes and landed a rebounding clothesline. Jungle Boy connected with the round kicks but sadly missed the vaulting DDT.

Bronson executed an exploder suplex for another near fall. Super close! Back on their feet, Jungle Boy hit an enziguri, followed by the DDT from the bottom rope for a near fall.

He clobbered Bronson with a driving elbow strike to the back of his head for the three-count.

Result: Jungle Boy def. Bear Bronson on AEW Dark

Grade: B+


The AEW Dark episode ended just like last night's Elevation episode as Jurassic Express closed the show by celebrating with the fans.
