#4 Fans erupt after Logan Paul embarrassingly botches AEW star's move at WWE MITB 2025

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 saw Logan Paul stir up reactions from fans for botching a move that imitates AEW star Adam Page’s Buckshot Lariat.

During his tag team main event match alongside John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, Paul attempted a slingshot lariat. However, the execution went wrong, and Paul stumbled while landing before being struck with a superkick from Jey Uso.

Following the match, fans erupted on X and flooded the platform, with some even comparing it to CM Punk’s infamous botch of the same move during his feud with Adam Page in 2022. Many users even pointed out the difficulty of pulling off the Buckshot Lariat. Some speculated whether the botch was intentional as part of the match’s storytelling.

The match ended with Cody Rhodes pinning Cena, following interference from a returning R-Truth.

#3 Cody Rhodes references major AEW star following WWE Money in the Bank 2025

Cody Rhodes made headlines post Money in the Bank not only for scoring the victory with Jey Uso but also for referencing his real-life brother and All Elite Wrestling veteran, Dustin Rhodes.

In a segment after the match, Cody reflected on his history with Jey Uso and brought up a past match where they competed on opposing sides.

Elsewhere, Dustin Rhodes, one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions in Tony Khan's promotion, recently confirmed he will be retiring soon.

#2 Controversial star on shocking alliance with Jon Moxley in AEW: "You'll know exactly why"

Gabe Kidd’s recent alliance with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has raised plenty of eyebrows.

Kidd, a rising star in NJPW, aided Moxley during a steel cage match against Samoa Joe on Dynamite's Beach Break episode. The alliance further developed as Kidd aligned himself with The Death Riders and The Young Bucks heading into Double or Nothing 2025.

Despite their loss in the Anarchy in the Arena match, Kidd's involvement made a strong statement. On the Dynamite that followed, Kidd joined Moxley and Marina Shafir in a trios victory over Mark Briscoe, Mike Bailey, and Willow Nightingale.

Kidd has now promised to explain the motivation behind his partnership with Moxley during the press conference ahead of NJPW Dominion on June 15. In a video message, he said:

"You'll know, you'll know exactly why, tune into the press conference, I'll tell you exactly why I do what I do." [From 6:54 onwards]
