A legend could be joining WWE's LWO.

A former WWE talent recently stated that he would be willing to return to the promotion to work alongside the newly-reformed Latino World Order. The star in question has not been a part of the company for 30 years, but has remained active elsewhere in the wrestling industry.

Konnan is best known for his stint in WCW and competing across Mexico. More recently, he made sporadic appearances on AEW when he reunited with former LAX members Santana and Ortiz. His legendary status helped boost the tag team act.

In 2023, Konnan inducted his good friend Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame. Their relationship and history are well-documented, so it came as no surprise when Konnan stated that he would be willing to work alongside Mysterio's new group on WWE programming.

He also noted that he has a good relationship with the other group members. Konnan said the following on his Keepin' It 100 podcast:

"Yeah, with LWO? Yeah. They're all my friends. [...] Every single person in the LWO except Zelina [Vega] worked for me in Mexico, or worked with me." (H/T Wrestling Inc.)

The quintet of Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Zelina Vega, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde have been well-received by the WWE audience, and adding Konnan to their ranks would only further do so.

The LWO picked up their biggest win to date on last week's WWE SmackDown

The LWO gained a monumental victory on the most recent edition of SmackDown as Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio defeated multi-time Tag Team Champions The Usos.

The twins' defeat served as part of the long-term storyline of their falling out with Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief has become increasingly manipulative towards his cousins following their inability to defend the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are set to take matters into their own hands when they challenge Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at the upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event.
