Despite being the protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori has never been shown to have an innate Cursed Technique. While it was certainly fine for Itadori not to have developed a Cursed Technique at the beginning, the same cannot be said for him this late in the series.

Fortunately, the manga series released a new colored illustration of Yuji Itadori that shows certain changes in his character design, which may hint at the protagonist's Cursed Technique. While the manga series itself has yet to share information about it, fans have theories on what the new cursed technique could be.

When Satoru Gojo was first training Yuji Itadori to help him control his cursed energy, he told him how sharing his body with the King of Curses might one day help Yuji make Ryomen Sukuna's powers his own. Hence, fans were always waiting for Yuji to one day start using Sukuna's Cursed Techniques by himself.

While the manga has yet to showcase such a development, it showed Yuji Itadori to have changed his arm's look just when he entered the battlefield in Shinjuku in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 238. The moment fans saw that Yuji's hands had changed, they were convinced that he had inherited some of Sukuna's powers.

However, following the chapter, the manga started focusing on Kenjaku and his attempt to take down all remaining Culling Game participants. Yuji Itadori has thus far not been seen using his supposedly new Cursed Technique. Instead of that, the manga released a new colored illustration of the protagonist, showcasing how his arm looked in color.

According to the illustration, Yuji's arms now resembled a fish's body, as they had fish-like fins on them. As for the colors, the hands were red, while the forearms were similar in color to muscles and had a ribbed texture. That said, no information about the arms or Yuji's new Cursed Technique has been revealed.

While one may be forced to ask what connection Yuji Itadori has to a fish, it seems like both the anime and the manga have tried to hint to fans about the same. From the moment Yuji ate Sukuna's finger, he happened to develop two more eyes that opened when Sukuna took over. If one takes a good look at them, they do resemble a fish's gills.

Additionally, both the opening credits of the anime's first season featured black and white fish. Neither the anime nor the manga have ever explained what the fish signified. However, it seemed evident that the fish symbolized something important. Now that the manga has reached its final battle, the manga may finally explain the fish's appearance.

Meanwhile, other fans started theorizing that Yuji's new arms may have something to do with Blood Manipulation. Considering that Choso considered Yuji as his brother, there was a chance that he may have taught Yuji something.

However, a small section of fans was much more concerned about Yuji's ear. The colored illustration showed his right ear being covered in something. This threw off fans, as it confused them even more than before. Hopefully, the manga will soon explain the same.
