Yusuke Murata announces One Punch Man manga's return date
On Friday, June 13, 2025, One Punch Man manga creator Yusuke Murata posted a tweet through his official X account, announcing that the manga series would return from its hiatus on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The manga creator apologized to fans for making them wait for the new chapter. Right after, he announced that the Tonari no Young Jump version of One Punch Man would be updated next week.

Yusuke Murata also noted that the upcoming chapter would be short and would feature the Neo Heroes' story arc. Following the serialization of the Ninjas Arc, the entire plot surrounding the new hero organization had been pushed to the sidelines. Hence, as per the manga creator, the chapter 204 redraw will shift the series's focus back to the Neo Heroes.
As fans may remember, Yusuke Murata announced a two-month break for the manga series in May 2025. While the mangaka did not reveal the reason behind the hiatus, he did mention "various circumstances" forcing him to delay the manga's next chapter.

Initially, the manga creator announced that the series would return from its hiatus on Thursday, July 17, 2025. However, as per the manga creator's latest announcement, the hiatus has been shortened to just one month.
With that, fans can expect the manga series to resume its serialization with one chapter released every two weeks. However, it is to be seen if the manga's upcoming chapters will feature all-new content or if they will retell the developments depicted in the previous rendition of the Neo Heroes Uprising Arc.
