Ashley Chevalier is a collegiate basketball guard for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and is in her junior year, as of January 2025. During her career in high school, Chevalier was ranked the No. 86 overall player by espnW Hoop Gurlz. Additionally, she was rated the No. 27 player at the point guard position. While Chevalier was in her senior year, she averaged 11.7 points per game and 4.3 assists per game. Following her performance, the Sierra Canyon team earned the No. 1 seed in the Southern Section Open Division playoffs. As a junior, she helped her side to the 2019 California Open Division State Championship. The team concluded with a 33-1 overall record. She averaged 2.9 points per game while shooting 38.4 percent from the floor. In addition to this, she tallied 42 assists and 24 steals on the year. In that season, Chevalier also recorded a season-high 11 points on 5 of 9 shooting against Iowa State. At Texas as a redshirt freshman, Chevalier attended seven games and recorded 19 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the floor. She also scored 18 assists and contributed four steals. The following season, she played in 32 games. The player averaged 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds and had 24 assists. Chevalier averaged 2.8 points per game, 2.0 rebounds per game, and 19.7 minutes per game as a redshirt junior in the 2023-24 season.
