Brian Charles Lara is one of the greatest, classiest batsmen of all-time. An impeccable cricketer who holds the record for the highest ever test score of 400 not out, is also the only cricketer in first-class cricket history to score a century, a double century, a triple century, a quadruple century and a quintuple century over the course of a senior career.
Sachin Tendulkar, one of the few batsmen and cricketers who match the aura and talent of the great Trinidadian, bowled and picked up the wicket of the Carribean legend four times during his career.
Tendulkar took three big wickets for just 36 in his 10 overs when India took on West Indies in 1994. Trapping Brian Lara in an LBW, the master blaster also picked up the wickets of Jimmy Adams and Sherwin Campbell, guiding India to an impressive victory in Chennai, with the help of the then Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin.
To get rid of Lara, as many of the best bowlers have known is no easy task, but to do so four times in as many games is a rare feat and a record Tendulkar can look back on with high regard.
