Shreyas Iyer who has been piling runs in the domestic tournament for many years now. Shreyas Iyer who was also in the fight for that number 4 spot now looks out of the race because of some great performances by Ambati Rayadu.

Shreyas Iyer has been a bit unlucky as he did not get enough opportunities when compared to others. Out of six ODI matches that he played for India, he scored 210 runs which included two half-centuries. He was in the mix of the thing for a long time but looks like has lost the battle in his mind also. In the recent interview that he gave, he was looking quite frustrated because of him not being part of the team India.

We all know that Rayadu has been injury prone for most of his career, so if Iyer is able to have a great IPL 2019 season he might catch the bus but it is looking difficult for him to be part of the mega event.
