Babar Azam has been Pakistan's best player in the last 2 years in almost all the formats. He is the No.1 Ranked T20I batsman and is No.5 in the ICC ODI Rankings.
He has played the anchoring role for Pakistan in many innings and has batted responsibly but with some flamboyance. He made his debut soon after the 2015 World Cup and in 54 ODIs, Babar has scored 2267 runs averaging a great 51.52.
He could be the main man for Pakistan in the 2019 World Cup and is one to look out for.

Shai Hope has been a saving grace for the West Indies on many occasions and has become the anchor of the team. He made his ODI debut late in 2016 and batted in many positions but has now formed a lethal partnership with Shimron Hetmyer in the middle-order.
He has scored 875 runs in 18 innings averaging a stunning 67.30 which illustrates his stunning consistency. Though it requires a lot more for the Windies to pose a threat in the World Cup, Shai Hope is someone to be wary of.

Ben Stokes has been an integral part of this England team in all the formats of the game. He made his debut in 2011 but was in and out of the side due to injuries and disciplinary issues. He missed the bus for the 2015 World Cup but after being recalled back to the side, Stokes has been exceptional.
In total, he has scored 1963 runs in 75 matches averaging a good 37.35 and has picked up 58 wickets.
#6 - Hardik Pandya - All Rounder (India)
Hardik Pandya is certainly on course to end India's search for a proper all-rounder but hasn't been too consistent. Pandya made his debut in 2016 and is a powerful striker of the ball and can create ripples with the ball. is a very energetic player on the field and has played a few whistle-worthy innings despite not scoring a hundred yet. He has 670 runs at an average of 29.13 and has picked up 40 wickets.
He will be crucial to India's World Cup run.
