Lasith Malinga has just had a very topsy turvy career which is very similar to his hairstyle. Lasith was out of form for a very long time in the past few years which constantly kept him away from the international matches. However, he again came back with his slinging action at last year’s Asia Cup and proved why he is the best death bowler for Sri Lanka.

Nicknamed as Slinga-Malinga, Lasith has so far remained as one of the top bowlers for the Sri Lanka side. His slow inswinging yorkers at the death have created the fear in the minds of even the greatest batsmen. He often uses this delivery as his go-to ball whenever he is smashed by batsmen.

So far, Malinga has grabbed a total of 318 wickets with a total of 8 five-wicket hauls in 213 matches.
